NORTH SHORE + DULUTH TRAVELS | Sophie Grace Photography

This October I took a weekend away from weddings, photos and life to escape to the beautiful land known as North Shore, MN.  It is located around the north edge of Lake Superior.  Typically traveling to the North Shore from Fargo, ND I stay in Duluth!  Duluth is full of culture, bridges and life! 

Over the past year I have found peace in traveling, and although I live in basically the MOST BORING LAND on Earth, its amazing to know that a beautiful get-a-way is only a few hours away.  It really is a hidden gem of the midwest.  I went to Duluth the first weekend in October, which means LEAVES! Changing leaves, brisk temps and some good friends made for an amazing hiking weekend exploring the north shore. 

Some of my favorite locations around the North Shore area are Tettagouche State Park and Oberg Mountain (Thanks for the referral Tawny!).
